Western Digital 1Tb GreenPower better than Western Digital Raptor??

I'm want to buy two high performance hard disks which would be used for video editing mostly. I was decided to two pieces in RAID0 of:

Western Digital Raptor 150Gb 16Mb cache 10000Rpm 1.5Gbps
model: WD1500ADFD

but a friend of mine told me he got much better performance with two:

Capacity is not important to me at all, ONLY performance. Now what do you think about it? Is this possible, two terras to be better than two raptors in raid0 ? And could you specify why? I think maybe it is true because the two terras are 3Gbps and the raptors 1.5Gbps. Please tell me what to do? I repeat capacity is not important to me at all, nor the price, only performance. It will be used mainly for video editing, dvdshrinking etc.
