I have Windows 7 OS installed in my PC and want to connect dual monitor to my PC how can I do that?

Purchase a video card with dual monitor capability. Most new computers come with Video Cards that are dual-monitor ready and search for video cards with two monitor inputs

Purchase a second monitor or two identical new monitors (looks better). New monitors should connect with a digital DVI connection to your video card. Older monitors have VGA connections that seem to be getting phased out and finding video cards with two VGA connections is harder to find. If you are upgrading to dual monitors, consider taking this opportunity to upgrade to flat screen monitors with DVI connections (you will have a better picture and resolution anyway).

Connect your monitors to your new video card (your computer should be off), and reboot your computer. If you have Microsoft Windows XP, your computer will automatically recognize the second monitor and you just have to re-configure your desktop after Windows loads.
