How can i retrieve data from a working Notebook Hard Drive?

the laptop isn't booting anymore, but the HD is fine, i'd like to remove it and connect it to my other pc, is there any way i can do this without having to take the drive to a shop? thanks

same problem with mine the only solution is to remove it and connect it to another computer or laptop.
