How do I get Apple Mobile Disk Hard Drive to Work in Windows XP?

I have borrowed an Apple Mobile Disk external hard drive to copy files from it to my computer which is running Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3.
When i plug in the drive (USB 2.0) and start it up - Windows recognizes the disk and knows that its there (checked under the BIOS and Device Manager - the Apple hard drive is shown there and it is enabled and apparently working fine), but it doesn't show up in My Computer or Explorer or anywhere else.

The safely remove icon shows up in the system tray and i can safely remove "USB Mass Storage Device" (the Apple hard drive), but i cannot access the drive at all.

I tried it on another computer, which also recognizes the Apple external drive (it also shows the device name and Windows says that its finished installing and ready to use), but again i cannot access it at all.

Please help. What do i need to do to get it woking? Thanks

Apples Mobile runs on MacIntosh system, they are completely two different systems, it may be able to recognize it, but since it operates, it won't open it. Sorry, I can't help you there.
