Computer Cooling Systems- Beat the Heat

We certainly do live in an electronic world and this can present some very specific problems for those of us that take advantage of it. For example, many of us tend to use mobile computers in order to stay in touch and they can be destroyed quickly if they are overheated. It is not only the laptop itself that needs to cool down; it’s also the individual components that need to be taken into consideration. The first thing that needs to be cooled down is the CPU itself. It doesn't matter what kind of CPU you use, they are all susceptible to damage from heat. Most of us tend to overlook this important component but the fact of the matter is, the video or Graphics Card can easily overheat, the same as any other component. This is especially the case with today's computers because we tend to use them more for high-end graphics and videos. If you want to get the most out of your PC or laptop, make sure that you install one of these graphics coolers.

Will it help to remove the xbox 360 case completely as a cooling option(im talkin permanent basis)?

and another thing is can i control the dust with something else to cover it up partially.. i feel there is very less ventilation with the xbox 360 case design

While it would help overall it would be worse for the system to be fully opened also since you removed the case it is considered tampering and would void the warranty.

Also johnt_007uk while most intercooler for the system are good next time if you decided to show someone what it looks like try not to find a picture of the only intercooler that can destroy the console. The picture you showed is the first gen Nyko's intercooler and as you can see it is powered in-line with the xbox console this is very bad for the system and will slowly kill it. If you get an intercooler get one that has its own power supply and does not run of the systems power.

EDIT: Sure I can. The xbox is basically a computer but in a more simplifyed case. If you completly took the cover off just to list a few things that could happen. One dust would gather of the actual curcuits of the system. As we know this is BAD lol. It can cause many problems and kill the system. Also one that a lot of people do not think of is the system will create heat either way. This heat attracts bug/spider/ETC to the console. There is a great amount of things a bug to do inside the system to kill it. It is more prone to get wet from any number of places including your own sweat if you are playing and it is hot in the room. I can tell you my room gets hot as hell in the summer and I tend to sweat just laying around so playing a game I might also. There is just a large number of things that might happen that you could avoid by leaving the cover on. Also if you are asking about the intercooler. In the case that I said before about the intercooler that draws power right from the system. This device alone will void the warranty. Since it takes power from the consoles own power supply it means that the console is getting less power then it needs to opperate correctly. In turn you are hurting the system because it can not function as it should. Not only that but the intercooler in this case is getting more power then it needs causing it to heat up. This in rare cases has actually left burn marks on the console. However that can be avoided simply by getting an intercooler that is not powered by the system and has its own power supply.
