Video Extender: Economical Means of Long Distance Video Transmission over Cat5/Cat6 UTP Cables

Video Extender enables you to extend video between the source and the output devices over long distances. How can I upload digital video from a digital video camera via USB to my MacBook??

i have a digital video camera by JVC that came with a USB cable. I have a MacBook and once I plug the camera into the Mcbook via USb, nothing happens. I dont know much about Mac and dont know where internally to locate the USB drive to promp it to upload. do i need some sort of software??

Iphoto. I have a macbook and a digital camera with a usb plug as well. When you plug in the camera, open up iphoto (assuming you have this software, if you recently purchased your mac you should have it) and when iphoto opens, follow the on screen directions.
