With laptop technology constantly developing and the price of new laptops ever decreasing, this means the value of laptops quickly depreciates. Macbooks hold their value a lot better compared to conventional laptops due to their design and desirability.

Significantly it is the processor, RAM (Random Access Memory), size of HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and screen size that can affect the valuation of a second-hand laptop, as well as the age, condition and model.

Many of these people will try to sell these to release much needed cash as they already have a laptop that they are happy with.
